Since 2002, several of EWTN's biggest clerical stars have been involved in sex scandals and the network has struggled to recover from the fallout.
In 2005, Monsignor Eugene Clark, host of the popular EWTN show 'Relationships', was forced off air when it was revealed that he was having an affair with his long-time secretary.
In 2007, Father Francis Mary Stone, host of the EWTN show 'Life on the Rock', left the network and the priesthood when his affair with a widow he was allegedly counselling came to light.
The former priest has since resurfaced on the internet as Dave Stone, and is peddling a nutrition drink called Zrii under the catchy banner of "living life on the rock".
